"No teen film compares."
- Gregory Weinkauf: ÜberCiné, Rotten Tomatoes
“Crystalline imagery, ambitious design and art direction and a fine soundtrack, crammed with eclectic music genres from classical to electronica, comprise a strong cinematic package.”
- Robert Koehler: Variety
“One Day Like Rain is a visual film that is very well directed.”
- Andy Spletzer: Film.com
"Stop looking for the next super-cool indie feature. It's arrived with Paul Todisco's One Day Like Rain, a riveting and magical ride which skillfully blends the science-fiction and high school genres. Although ostensibly set in suburban California, the thematic scope of the film is cosmic, and reminiscent at times of The Man Who Fell to Earth, Donnie Darko, and the best of David Lynch. Directed with the surest of hands by Todisco, One Day Like Rain mixes the real and the surreal for a trippy, fun, and occasionally disturbing tale about a teenage girl and the end of the world."
- Terry Keefe: Venice Magazine
“I found this film utterly poetic, brilliant, and overall I think it will stand the test of time to become a hardcore cult classic.”
- Don Neumann: Quiet Earth
“If you’re looking for a mind-altering cinematic experience, get thee to the screening of One Day Like Rain… on many levels everything that an indie feature should be: ballsy, experimental, and also pretty damn entertaining.”
- The Hollywood Interview
“Overall this is an impressive film, and one that grows with repeated viewing.”
